Alan Tannenwald, Clerk

Alan grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and has spent most of his life in the Boston area. A product of the Newton Public Schools, Alan received his bachelor's degree in American Studies from Brandeis University and a law degree from Georgetown University. Alan is currently Assistant General Counsel at BitSight Technologies, a Boston-based cybersecurity software company. Until recently, Alan was a coach for the speech and debate team at Newton South High School. Alan lives in Marblehead with his wife, Abbie, a mental health counselor in private practice, and their pet bunnies Patchouli, Peanut and Persimmon.
