SEF/Studio FOLI Concert series
The Studio FOLI concert series began this past winter in Greg Coles’ dance studio in downtown Salem, a large room that seats over sixty people. The series features local artists and the proceeds benefit the Salem Education Foundation. I had a wonderful time performing the Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” this past December with a jazz trio. The show sold out and we raised almost two thousand dollars for the Salem Public Schools, of which I am a proud graduate.
I’m excited to perform with another group of mine for the second concert of the series in September. Pumpkin Bread is a five-piece band, which blends influences from traditional folk songs and fiddle tunes with modern sensibilities and intricate arrangements. In addition to the concert, there will be baked goods and adult beverages from local breweries! The proceeds from the show benefit the Salem Education Foundation.

Serie de conciertos de SEF/Studio FOLI
La serie de conciertos de Studio FOLI comenzó el invierno pasado en el estudio de danzas de Greg Coles en el centro de Salem, una gran sala con capacidad para más de sesenta personas sentadas. La serie presenta a artistas locales y las ganancias son a beneficio de Salem Education Foundation. La pasé de maravilla tocando “A Charlie Brown Christmas” de Vince Guaraldi este último diciembre con un trío de jazz. Las entradas para el espectáculo se agotar on y recaudamos casi dos mil dólares para las Escuelas Públicas de Salem, de donde soy un orgulloso graduado.
Estoy entusiasmado por tocar con otro grupo mío para el segundo concierto de la serie en septiembre. Pumpkin Bread es una banda de cinco integran tes que mezcla influencias de canciones folclóricas tradicionales y melodías de violines con características modernas y arreglos complejos. Además del concierto, habrá productos de pastelería y bebidas para adultos de cervecerías locales. Las ganancias del espectáculo serán a beneficio de Salem Education Foundation.
